Arriving by car / parking
Follow the signs “P Messe” on the motorway A2 / A3 (from Switzerland) or A5 (from Germany) (see map). The Basel public transport companies offer a Park & Ride shuttle service that will take you to the fair and back again every day from 7.30 am to 7 pm (last day of the fair until 6 pm). Parking costs incl. Shuttle bus: CHF 20 / € 20.
Invalidenparkplätze are located in the exhibition car park on the 4th floor and on the VIP parking behind the hall 1 south. Please contact the Securitas at the entrance.
Cars can drive to the exhibition grounds to invite and unload guests. The cars then receive instructions from the transport service and a route plan, which leads to their assigned parking lot, off the fairgrounds. A parking space costs CHF 30.- and must be paid in cash.
To travel on Swiss motorways you will need a yearly vignette (CHF 40), which is available at border crossings and at post offices. Experience has shown that the traffic during the fair is very large, so we recommend that you arrive by public transport.
