Since it opened in 1981, Palexpo has continuously modernized its infrastructures and expanded its range of services. Important events take place here: in particular the Geneva International Motor Show, but also Davis Cup matches, the Geneva International Horse Show (CHI) and the Supercross as well as a number of specialist events such as the Salon international de la haute horlogerie (SIHH) watch fair, the trade fair for the European food industry Vitafoods, the nonwovens trade fair INDEX or EPHJ-EPMT-SMT, the trade fair for suppliers to the jewelry and watch industry and microtechnology.
